Dear shareholders, we are pleased that you have accepted our invitation and cordial welcome to the Annual General Meeting of UBS Group AG here at the refurbished St. Jakobshalle in Basel. I also welcome the viewers, who are following us through the Internet in either German or English. Pursuant to Article 13 of the Articles of Association of UBS Group AG, I herewith formally open the Annual General Meeting. I shall chair the meeting and let me present to you the participants, who will support me up on the podium.

On the left, Kirt Gardner, our group Chief Financial Officer; and Markus Diethelm, our group General Counsel; Sergio Ermotti, Group CEO; and on my right, Mr. Markus Baumann, our General Secretary.
