Thank you. I am Jeff Wolf, CEO of Heat Biologics, and thank you for joining us from the Purple Masque Theatre in Manhattan, Kansas today.
So, you've probably heard our announcement yesterday about our commercial scale facility here in Kansas, and today, we'll touch on that. But we'll also be announcing some important new developments later as well.
Over the past 18 months, we've built a powerful drug discovery engine in our Skunkworx subsidiary. We've built the Scorpion subsidiary to deliver world-class biomanufacturing, and we announced the acquisition of Elusys Therapeutics, a biodefense company which we intend to grow into a biodefense powerhouse.
Yesterday's announcement is part of our broad vision to build an ecosystem to move drugs from the lab to the people who need them as quickly and efficiently as possible. This empowers us to bring our ideas to life with efficient control, superior quality and uncharacteristic agility.
