Thank you very much and good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to the Annual Meeting of the Unitholders of Chartwell Retirement Residences. My name is Huw Thomas, and I'm Chair of the Board. This is my first year as Chair after succeeding our long-term Chair, Mike Harris, and I would like to thank my fellow directors for their valuable support and guidance over the last year.

The world at large has endured a very challenging 3 years due to the COVID pandemic. Seniors housing was among the sectors that was particularly hard-hit during this time, and Chartwell was no exception.
