Good morning, everyone, and thank you for joining us. A year on from the start of the COVID crisis, with vaccination programs advancing globally, we can start to see the beginning of the end of this terrible pandemic. My hope and expectation is that during the course of this year, we often start to return to a more normal way of life.

The last year has been one of the most difficult periods Barclays has faced. Our customers, clients, communities, colleagues and families have all been through extraordinary challenges. And we faced challenges as a business, too. As I reflect on that, I want to once again thank our thousands of colleagues for the extraordinary commitment they have shown to Barclays.
