Parnassus Value Equity Fund Profile
Part of Jerome Dodson’s Parnassus Investments, the Parnassus Value Equity Fund is a fossil-fuel-free and positive workplace fund that selects deeply discounted, out-of-favor stocks with a wider range of expected outcomes. Mr. Dodson was the portfolio manager of the Fund until he stepped back from fund management at the end of 2020, after which Billy Hwan became the new portfolio manager the fund. Affiliated Managers Group gained control of Parnassus in mid-2021 after acquiring a majority stake in the firm. The fund was previously known as the Parnassus Endeavor Fund until its name changed on Dec. 30, 2022.

The Parnassus Value Equity Fund invests in U.S. large-cap companies with long-term competitive advantages and relevancy, quality management teams and positive performance on ESG criteria The fund holds companies with outstanding workplaces and avoids investments in fossil fuels.
