Leading wireless sound technology developer WiSA Technologies (WISA, Financials) said it has acquired CompuSystems, a supplier of lead management, data analytics, and event registration systems. This calculated action allows WiSA to enter the dynamic event management industry, therefore transcending audio.

By combining CSI's expertise with its outstanding ADIO platform, WiSA aims to improve event experiences via tailored attendees interactions and immersive audio tours. CompuSystems is expected to provide $3 million to $4 million in EBITDA and $13 million to $15 million in income in 2025, hence increasing WiSA's sales and profitability.

This acquisition allows WiSA to join CompuSystems' vast event network, therefore broadening its market reach and increasing its chances to use its audio technology.

Saying the transaction will generate additional money and increase the company's gross margin, WiSA CEO Brett Moyer emphasized its strategic importance. Joining WiSA and using WiSA's technology to improve CompuSystems' products and provide value to event planners excite CompuSystems CEO Mark Lo Giurato. Under standard closure conditions, the agreement should close on Jan. 31, 2025.
