Tesla has initiated a recall of nearly 700,000 vehicles due to a problem with the tire pressure monitoring system warning light. This recall affects certain models, including the 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3, and 2020-2025 Model Y. The issue involves the warning light failing to remain illuminated between driving cycles, which could prevent drivers from being alerted to low tire pressure. Improper tire pressure during driving increases the risk of accidents.

Tesla has addressed the issue by offering a free software update to rectify the problem.
