Baidu (BIDU) Rises Over 1.2% Amid New Trademark Application

Baidu (BIDU, Financial) shares increased by over 1.2%, reaching $89.5. The company has applied for the "Baidu Short Dramas" trademark, covering website services, scientific instruments, and education entertainment. The trademark is currently awaiting substantive review. Baidu's spokesperson highlighted that short dramas are a key focus in their content ecosystem, with over 24,000 short dramas already on their platform. By 2025, Baidu plans to enhance its platform through distribution, revenue sharing, rewards, exclusive broadcasts, and partnerships.
