France's nuclear power output has surged to its highest level since February 2020, offsetting a decline in Europe's wind power generation. According to RTE, the grid operator, as of Thursday morning, EDF's 56 nuclear reactors produced 51,906 megawatts. In contrast, wind power generation in Germany, Europe's largest electricity market, is predicted to be significantly lower.

Additionally, EDF increased its nuclear power production target for the second time this year. The company now expects to generate between 358 terawatt-hours and 364 terawatt-hours, surpassing the previous forecast of 340 to 360 terawatt-hours.
