Tesla (TSLA) Rises Over 2% Amid Model Q Launch Plans

Tesla (TSLA, Financial) shares increased over 2%, trading at $397.73. During a Deutsche Bank conference, Tesla's investor relations head, Travis Axelrod, revealed plans to deliver the affordable Model Q in the first half of next year. The Model Q, internally known as Redwood, will be 15% smaller and 30% lighter than the Model 3. Founder Elon Musk previously mentioned that, with electric vehicle incentives, the Model Q is expected to be priced at $30,000.
