Costco (COST, Financial) is set to release its fiscal 2025 Q1 earnings. Analysts predict revenue of $62.37 billion, a 7.9% increase from the previous year, and earnings per share of $3.79, an 8.9% rise. Despite a delayed Black Friday, Costco's net sales for the first 13 weeks of fiscal 2025 reached $66.52 billion, up 7.2% from last year. The company noted a 1.5% negative impact on total and comparable sales due to a shift in e-commerce sales timing.

Black Friday and Thanksgiving were successful, with U.S. consumers spending a record $10.8 billion, a 10.2% increase from last year. Seven out of eight consumer goods companies that reported last week exceeded expectations, easing economic concerns.
