AMC Entertainment (AMC, Financial) shares fell more than 8% to $4.74. The company announced plans to issue up to 50 million new shares. The proceeds from this stock offering will be used to strengthen its balance sheet and reinvest in its core business. The goal is to enhance and differentiate the movie-going experience under the AMC GO initiative.
