Apple's (AAPL) Focus on AI Fails to Spark Consumer Interest

According to a survey by UBS, Apple Inc. (AAPL, Financial) has been emphasizing the artificial intelligence features in its latest iPhone models. However, consumer interest remains tepid. Analyst David Vogt reported that demand for iPhones is weak, as enthusiasm for AI-enabled smartphones is still low.

The survey revealed that only 30% of respondents are interested in smartphones with generative AI capabilities, while 27% are not interested at all. The remaining respondents are neutral on the matter.
