Dada Group, a leading retail and delivery platform, announced its 2024 third-quarter earnings report. JD Daojia, a feature of the JD.com (JD, Financial) app, has seen significant growth in both monthly average ordering users and order volume, each surpassing a 100% year-on-year increase. The penetration rate among JD's user base continues to rise, offering more users the benefit of instant delivery services.
By the end of September, JD Daojia's operational store count exceeded 600,000, marking a growth of over 70% from the previous year. Enhanced user experiences have contributed to a noticeable increase in both high-frequency users and repeat purchases, with the number of high-frequency users on the JD app doubling compared to the previous year.
During the recent JD 11.11 shopping festival, JD Daojia achieved a new peak in daily online orders. Dada Express, the delivery division, maintained robust growth with revenues increasing by 46% year-on-year for the first nine months of this year.
Throughout the quarter, Dada Express deepened its cooperation with chain merchants and improved delivery service quality, resulting in a 36% year-on-year increase in completed orders, totaling 648 million. Thanks to ongoing optimization in marketing and operational efficiency, Dada Group's non-GAAP net loss rate narrowed, showing improved profitability.
