Tesla's Nevada Gigafactory set a new benchmark by producing 1,000 Powerwall energy storage units in a single day. This achievement was celebrated by Tesla's energy division, with Elon Musk commending the team for their work. The Powerwall is a robust home battery designed to store solar energy for use during power outages or grid limitations. Musk highlighted the global impact of this technology, emphasizing its ability to keep homes and businesses powered during disruptions. By combining Powerwall with solar installations and Starlink, users can operate off-grid without traditional power lines.

The Powerwall is engineered to store solar energy and ensure continuous power supply even during grid failures. Tesla claims production capabilities of a Powerwall 3 unit every 25 seconds, equating to more than 700,000 units annually.

The Nevada Gigafactory not only manufactures energy storage products but also produces electric motors, vehicle power systems, and batteries. There are plans to expand the facility further with a 100 GWh 4680 battery plant and a high-volume Tesla Semi factory.
