Nomura Holdings Fined for Manipulating Japanese Government Bond Futures

Nomura Holdings has been fined 21.8 million yen (approximately $143,000) by Japanese financial regulators for manipulating the Japanese government bond futures market. This decision was made by Japan's Financial Services Agency following a recommendation from the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, their investigative body, last month.

Nomura has confirmed that the fine has been paid and has issued an apology to its clients and stakeholders.
