AT&T (T) and Corning Secure $1 Billion Multi-Year Deal for Fiber Expansion

AT&T (T, Financial), the American fiber internet provider, and Corning have announced a multi-year procurement agreement valued at over $1 billion. Under this deal, Corning will supply AT&T with next-generation fiber, cables, and connectivity solutions. This initiative aims to expand AT&T's fiber network, providing high-speed internet access to a broader range of consumers across the United States.

To meet the requirements set by the U.S. federal government, AT&T will deploy a variety of Corning's product offerings and systems. John Stankey, CEO of AT&T, highlighted the importance of this collaboration, indicating that it will significantly enhance connectivity for households, communities, and businesses.
