UBS CEO Sergio Ermotti announced that it will take approximately 18 months to fully migrate Credit Suisse clients to UBS systems as the bank advances its integration with its former competitor. UBS acquired Credit Suisse last year following the latter's collapse due to a series of scandals and setbacks. Ermotti has committed to completing this integration process.

Earlier this year, Ermotti cautioned that the IT integration of the two banks might take time. He discussed the ongoing transfer of clients to UBS systems during an event in Washington, D.C.
