Equinor and Major Oil Stocks Decline Amid Significant Drop in Global Oil Prices

Global oil prices have experienced a significant drop, impacting oil stocks in the U.S. market. Equinor (EQNR, Financial) saw a decline of over 4% in pre-market trading. Major oil companies like TotalEnergies, BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, and Eni faced declines exceeding 2-3%. Chevron's shares were down nearly 2%.

Currently, Brent crude has decreased by 3.6%, reaching $74.60, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude has dropped by 3.8%, settling at $71.01.
