BOSTON, Oct. 11, 2024 — Investment firm, Stifel believes HubSpot's (HUBS, Financial) recent acquisition of Cacheflow is likely intended to enhance its robust Commerce Hub platform. Analyst J. Parker Lane said the agreement points to a potential "relaunch" of Commerce Hub, in line with past changes to the company's Sales and Content Hubs.
"We believe the deal would signal a continuous focus on Commerce Hub, and may accompany a 'relaunch' similar to what the company has lately done with Sales and Content Hub," Lane said in a note. Moreover, Lane feels these encouraging developments focusing on a redesigned Commerce Hub will likely draw greater attention to the product, which is still in its nascency, and is less spoken about among HubSpot's stakeholders.
Moreover, Lane has a Buy recommendation on HubSpot, anticipating the acquisition and possible relaunch to have a positive long-term impact on the business by efficiently extending its commerce-related products while integrating them into HubSpot's platform. Also, following the news, shares of HubSpot ticked up 1.06%. Its important to note that the stock is up more than 13.8% in the past month alone.
