JPMorgan Increases Stake in Leading Chinese Companies

JPMorgan has significantly raised its investment in Chinese assets, injecting approximately HKD 1.286 billion into shares of multiple major Chinese companies. According to data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, JPMorgan increased its holdings in XPeng Inc. (XPEV, Financial) by about HKD 639 million, elevating its ownership from 4.57% to 5.35%.

The investment bank also boosted its stake in Kanzhun Limited (BZ) by around HKD 138 million, raising its shareholding from 9.88% to 10.05%. Additionally, it increased its investment in Zijin Mining Group by HKD 222 million, with its stake rising from 6.98% to 7.19%, and Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited by HKD 287 million, moving its ownership from 5.56% to 6.53%.

Earlier filings revealed that on September 27, JPMorgan had acquired HKD 267 million worth of China Pacific Insurance (H Share), HKD 1.791 billion in BYD Company (H Share), and HKD 242 million in Tsingtao Brewery (H Share).
