On Thursday, President Joe Biden’s comments on cannabis legalization spurred a rally in the cannabis sector. His major announcement was that all prior federal offenses of simple possession will be pardoned. The act is expected to affect approximately 6,500 people convicted from 1992 to 2021. Additionally, Biden called upon governors to take similar action toward pardoning possession offenses. More importantly for the legal cannabis industry, he also plans to direct the Department of Health and Human Services and attorney general to review the product’s status as a schedule 1 controlled substance, which places it among heroin and LSD and higher than methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Debt issues in the space and have to be careful of the huge goodwill and intangibles and cash flow. TRSSF just picked up a loan for 40 million at 12% and others are sure to follow. Also need to be aware of mergers and acquisitions as when these share lock-ups expire the stock will have weight. Next Q earnings may give a glimpse into who can pivot to lower price pojts and maintain margin without to much of a hit..Long term seems like a no brainer imo..MSOS is likely to be the best way to play this without the risk of your one horse going to the market for equity.
