2024 projections for global stock markets are everywhere by now.
Will they be as bad as last years?
A reminder of the consensus 12 months ago:
1) US tech to be mullered.
2) Japan stocks to dump.
3) Chinese stocks to thrive.
4) Recessions to be everywhere.
What happened?
Almost the opposite.
Please remember that market commentators are paid to “talk” about the markets rather than trade them.
If you have a methodology that works- ignore the noise, and stick with it.
As a trader you can only trade what you see, and right now- we can see a decent sized retracement in US equities incoming.
It will be interesting to see where the land lies at the end of Q1.
